Mid January I am going to give a 4 days workshop on location management in the international school EICAR. Teaching is something I have always been passionate with, it is a real pleasure to awake students to location scout and permits, budget management, crew and equipment transports, ATA carnet… When I started this workshop my goal was to contribute to make visible UPM, location manager and production coordinator jobs. We often say that when those jobs are done properly they are invisible. I realized that they were so invisible than even experienced technicians had no idea of what those people were doing ! To contribute to the recognition of my job to the youngest was my little contribution to this job that has given me so much.
